KPMG in Boston hosts the annual Hot Topics in Financial Services Forum

The forum is designed to bring together hundreds of executives and professionals from across the financial services industry, including banking, capital markets, asset management, alternative investments, private equity, and more.

In 2022, the agenda investigates pressing issues for the industry including the perspectives on central bank digital currencies; the role of intelligent automation in financial services; rethinking talent in financial services; and reinventing the banking industry.

As a result of the pandemic, there was a major shift in consumer behavior, and the banking industry had to adapt quickly to provide their customers with digital solutions. KPMG Boston Financial Services Partner, Allison Downey, will lead a panel discussion with Nitin Mhatre, CEO, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, and Bob Rivers, CEO, Eastern Bank to discuss their digital journeys over the past two years and the upcoming challenges and opportunities for continued innovation and modernization in the industry to meet not only the heightened digital expectations of their customers, but to achieve increased operational efficiences.
