Yash Acharya is a Managing Director at KPMG LLP, serving as one of the leaders for KPMG’s State and Local Government Finance Transformation practice. Yash has around two decades of experience helping state and local governments with back-office transformation experience across back-office accounting, financial, procurement, transportation and transit, budgeting, and human resource functions with a particular focus on transformation.
Every transformation is grounded in people, process, and technology but with a specific emphasis on “one size doesn’t fit all”. He focuses on leveraging process and technology as enablers, bringing deep functional and industry experience to strategy, program management, system implementation, quality assurance, finance transformation, procurement, and organizational development initiatives. The guidance and support that Yash provides is strategic and transformational, yet grounded in clients’ reality and objectives to help meet their goals.
