Lynn has nationally recognized experience in capitalization and cost recovery issues. Prior to joining the KPMG Tax Incentivized Transactions, Leasing & Energy group in 2016, Lynn led KPMG’s East Fixed Asset Services practice for four years and, prior to that, spent 15 years in the Washington National Tax Income Tax & Accounting group.

Lynn has represented numerous clients in IRS examinations and appeals proceedings relating to capitalization issues and accounting for fixed assets. She has also supported clients through the IRS Industry Issue Resolution process.

Lynn is a frequent speaker on capitalization and cost recovery issues in both internal and external forums, including Tax Executive Institutes, Buffalo Financial Executives Institute, and Great Plains Tax Institute. She has authored articles on tax accounting issues for Journal of Taxation, Tax Notes Today, and Tax Advisor

Lynn has a BA degree from Duke University and MA degree from the University of North Carolina. She is a certified public accountant in Virginia and Massachusetts.
