Tony is a Partner in the KPMG New York Financial Services practice with 36 years of experience serving the Firm’s premier banking and investment banking clients globally. With 20 years serving as a Global Lead Partner, Tony has effectively built and lead high performing teams to deliver exemplary advisory and assurance services.
Tony is a Certified Public Accountant, and for most of his career, he served as an audit Partner to his clients. Upon returning to the U.S. Firm in 2020 following 9 years with KPMG Switzerland in Zurich, Tony joined as a Partner in the Advisory practice.
Tony joined KPMG in 1986 and was elected to the Partnership in 1997.
From March 2007 through March 2012, Tony served as National Sector Leader for the KPMG Banking and Finance practice. In this role, Tony was responsible for all segments that compromise the KPMG Banking and Finance practice, including commercial banking, regional and community banking, investment banking and securities firms and diversified financial companies. He was responsible for establishing the strategic framework for serving KPMG clients within the Banking and Finance industry. During his time in this role, Tony was a frequent speaker at various trade association and KPMG conferences and has written numerous articles related to the banking industry. In parallel, Tony continued to serve as Global Lead Partner on several client accounts.
