Chander is a Manager in the KPMG Financial Services consulting practice. He is a recognized industry leader in ESG research, data analysis and integration, advising some of the world’s largest financial services firms and LPs. In addition to being a contributing author to the Global Handbook of Impact Investing and producing the industry’s first framework for responsible investment practices in private equity, Chander has led multiple enterprise-wide data analytics projects, addressing data gaps, risk drivers and best practices while driving value for clients.
Prior to joining KPMG, Chander was leading the Private Equity ESG research at NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business. His previous experiences include developing portfolio and risk analytics for alternatives at Dynamo Software, and he additionally helped develop the first municipal bond ESG scoring framework while working at HIP Investor, an ESG ratings provider.
