Fred Basehore is a Senior Manager with over 40 years of payroll tax and compliance experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, banking, retail, and healthcare. Since joining KPMG, Fred has successfully provided a variety of employment tax services to clients. Services include, but are not limited to Payroll Process Health checks; Earnings and Deduction review for proper taxation set up; pre-/post-tax setup and FLSA overtime compliance; projects for preparing clients for year-end by performing analysis of year to date gross to net to mapping to the employee Form W-2; Wage and Tax Statement; taxable and non-taxable fringe benefit reviews; and post implementation analysis/clean up, etc.
Fred holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Almeda College, and is an American Payroll Association (APA) Certified Payroll Professional. He is also a member of the APA and Bloomberg BNA Payroll Administration Guide Advisory Board.
