Joan leads the Military and Veteran’s Health business in KPMG’s Federal Health practice with more than 30 years of management consulting and advisory experience. She is a strategic growth leader, seasoned business planner, and successful business developer with experience in both large and small business operations. Joan has over 30 years of experience in Military and Veteran’s health; focusing on military medical operations, Veteran’s programs, Health Information Technology (HIT), strategic simulation support, war-gaming, and force structure analytics. She has a strong background in the full life cycle of IT project delivery and considerable project and program management experience with Health IT implementation projects. Joan’s current and past clients include the Department of Defense (DoD), the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Joint Staff, the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense/Health Affairs (OASD/HA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Labor (DoL).
