Renee Bourget-Place is an audit partner and Managing Partner for the KPMG Burlington, Vermont office. She specializes in higher education and insurance entities, and has more than 24 years of experience providing financial statement audit services and other audit and attest services.
Renee has provided professional audit services to a variety of higher education, health care and property and casualty insurance entities. She has extensive experience in both generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Renee’s audit experience includes financial statement audits, pension plan audits, single audits performed in accordance with OMB Uniform Guidance over federal grant expenditures, agreed upon procedures and attestation engagements, and not-for-profit accounting. She serves as a single audit concurring review partner, a designation given to audit partners with significant experience in single audits.
Renee serves on the boards of the Greater Burlington YMCA and the Vermont Business Roundtable. She earned her Bachelors from Trinity College and Associates from Champlain College.
