Leigh Burton

Leigh is a senior manager in KPMG’s Trade and Customs practice, based in Atlanta, GA with over 14 years’ trade compliance experience. Prior to joining KPMG, Leigh worked for a top 3 U.S. importer managing the Global Trade Services operations within International Logistics, overseeing third party service providers, and coordinating with various cross-functional stakeholders (sourcing, merchants, audit, IT, etc.) to drive supply chain compliance. Data quality, automation, and technology projects were also executed by Leigh to drive process improvements and increase compliance around ISA, FTA, Country of Origin, HTS, and PGAs. In addition, Leigh led and managed implementations for their 4 Foreign Trade Zone projects to drive duty savings. Leigh also spent 5 years with a Foreign Trade Zone consulting firm where she implemented and administered distribution and manufacturing zone projects for companies across various industries such as agricultural machinery, outdoor power equipment, semiconductors, apparel, and watches. 

Leigh’s extensive global trade operations and project management experience allows her to support and execute end-to-end compliant solutions for clients utilizing the latest in technology and automation.
