Kim’s experience includes:
- Analyzing industry-specific trade and sanctions needs, and aligning needs to business operations
- Effectively administering export and deemed export licensing programs including obtaining positive determinations, managing stakeholder expectations and government relationships
- Drafting strategic CJs, CCATS, proviso reconsideration requests, OFAC, Canadian and UK export licenses with high rate of favorable determinations
- Developing technology control plans to support operations while mitigating compliance risks
- Conducting global export controls and sanctions risk assessments and engaging with cross-functional stakeholders identify gaps and create controls to mitigate unnecessary risk
