Mitchell Caplan is a Managing Director at KPMG in the Customer Advisory, Marketing Consulting practice. He has over 25 years of experience working in the marketing industry. His past roles include several global agency holding companies as a lead client partner and CMO, followed by a successful period in private equity, and lastly, and most recently, as a marketing transformation consultant. He has worked with some of the largest companies in the world, across multiple industries.

Through his vast experience, he has seen first-hand how effective marketing organizations work, and his focus is helping clients to transform the way their marketing organizations perform. From organizational structure, to process design, optimizing agency relationships, and marketing technology, Mitchell works with clients to identify and analyze the challenges and opportunities their marketing organization faces in delivering modern and innovative ideas that helps to drive success in the marketplace. 

Mitchell is a frequent speaker at industry events, including the ANA, ProcureCon Marketing, and has been published and cited in multiple publications. Mitchell has a BA from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the AAAA’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies
