Shannon Carstens

Shannon is a Partner in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, currently doing a rotation in the Accounting Standards Group within KPMG’s US Department of Professional Practice. She has over 25 years of experience providing financial statement audits to professional services, technology and fintech companies, as well as with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance and SEC reporting. She has led large engagement teams and researched complex technical accounting issues in areas such as Revenue Recognition, Business Combinations and Income Taxes.
Shannon graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and received her Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
