Tom Chamberlin
Managing Director, Tax, International Tax
Tom is a managing director in KPMG’s Denver International Tax practice. Tom has 15 years of experience advising multinational clients in a range of industries on all aspects of international taxation, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and most recently, BEPS and U.S. tax reform.
Before joining KPMG, he was a Senior Manager, International Tax for Deloitte, LLP in Denver, where he served several Colorado-based multinational corporations leading cross-functional teams in federal, multistate, transfer pricing, and international tax. Prior to that Tom was the Director of Tax for Duke Corporate Education.
Tom has assisted clients in a variety of industries including construction & engineering, energy, private equity and alternative investment funds to structure cross-border mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Tom has led several large tax supply chain engagements, multiple tax reporting system implementations, and a multitude of reorganizations. In addition, Tom has extensive experience with assisting clients with lowering their global effective tax rate, minimizing cash taxes and planning for cash repatriation.
Tom has more than 15 years of deep international tax experience, including mergers, acquisitions and inbound tax structuring.
