Dan Chelel
Director, Sports Industry Practice
Dan serves as a Director in the Sports Industry Practice. In this role he is focused on providing a multi-disciplinary range of audit, tax, and advisory service to sports leagues, teams, and facilities. Dan has over 13 years’ experience in the sports industry, and has played a significant role in strategic investments and relationship building across all major sports. Dan led the creation, launch, and management of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a Major on the LPGA Tour. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked at the PGA Tour in a marketing & community outreach role.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA, International Business & Sports Management from Seton Hall University. He is currently on the Villanova School of Business’ Center for Marketing & Consumer Insights Advisory Council.
