Director in KPMG’s Consulting Core Operations practice. I currently help lead our risk infrastructure and operations analysis practice within our energy and natural resources team.
I have over 15+ years of experience dealing with trading & supply, refining, and banking companies. My experience covers the front/LOD1, middle/LOD2 and back office operations as well as risk control, risk management, operations management, internal controls, internal audit/LOD3, regulatory reporting, and system implementations.
My focus is on risk management, strategy, target operating model, physical and financial trading performance, LOD2/middle office process design, internal control procedures, governance, regulatory compliance, internal audit, and project management.
Having been involved with the commodity industry over the past 15+ years, I am highly experienced with a variety of financially and physically traded commodities including crude oil, natural gas, emissions, power, natural gas liquids, refined products, residual fuels, fuel oil, chemicals, feedstocks, bio-fuels, agricultural products, grains, and oilseeds.
My experience also extends to storage optimization, transportation and logistics scheduling, price risk, month end close procedures, physical and financial month end adjustments, refinery hydrocarbon mass balance, refinery month end close procedures, and system conversion integration.
Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate enough to receive numerous honors from my peers and colleagues. I am the recipient of KPMG’s highest individual honor, the Chairman’s Award for High Performance. In 2018, I was named pleased to join the ranks the Houston Business Journals Class of 2018’s 40 Under 40 honoring Houston best and brightest in business.
I currently serve on the board of directors of AIDS Foundation Houston as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committees. I am an ardent supporter of the community and avid Texas Longhorn fan!
