Lilliam is a Tax Senior Manager in KPMG’s National Unclaimed Property Practice, focused exclusively on assisting clients with unclaimed property matters. She has over seven years of dedicated unclaimed property experience.
Lilliam has experience providing a full range of unclaimed property services, including the analysis of general ledger accounts and detailed accounting transactions, review of contracts with third party administrators to determine escheat responsibilities, and providing assistance with the identification, quantification, mitigation, and resolution of unclaimed property liabilities. She has participated in several audit defense engagements, including examinations by state administrators, as well as multi-state audit examinations by third party auditors. She has experience in preparing Voluntary Compliance Agreements and First Time Filings with all of the jurisdictions, as well preparing state unclaimed property reports and due diligence mailings in accordance with all of the jurisdictions’ requirements. She has also assisted in the development of policies and procedures and training sessions to educate clients about their unclaimed property compliance responsibilities.
Lilliam is a CPA licensed in New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization.
