Ronan Curran
Advisory Managing Director, Financial Due Diligence
Ronan is responsible for providing advice to public corporates and private equity clients on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures in the hospitality and real estate industries. Ronan began his career with the audit practice in KPMG, Ireland in Dublin, focusing on both financial services and real estate clients. He has been based in our New York office with KPMG US since 2013 serving clients nationally.
Ronan has led a variety of diligence projects for hospitality, real estate and some financial services clients. He has led buy-side projects which have entailed pre-acquisition diligence of financial, accounting, and operational aspects of target companies; as well as sell-side projects, which have helped clients position themselves for a sale or a carve out of a division
Ronan has worked directly with corporate clients to assess real estate optimization including potential real estate developments or rationalization
Ronan has also led cross-border transactions for his clients in Europe, Latin America and Africa
As a result of his work in KPMG Ireland and KPMG US, Ronan has significant experience working with clients on transactions across hospitality, digital infrastructure, PropTech, senior housing, multi-family and asset management
