I am a partner in KPMG Vancouver’s Sustainability Practice and have over 13 years of experience providing advisory and assurance services to clients in Canada and internationally. Having trained and practiced as an accountant, I focused my career on sustainability because I am passionate about the role of business in addressing big issues like climate change, human rights and the unsustainable demand for resources. I believe there is a considerable opportunity for organizations and individuals to look beyond the traditional way of doing business and to recognize a wider group of diverse stakeholders and ever-changing business issues, whether environmental, social or economic, in their activities.
