Melisa Denis
Partner, Tax, National Consumer Goods Tax Leader
Melisa serves as the National Tax Leader for the Consumer Goods sector of KPMG. She also served as the Partner-In-Charge for the Retail, Consumer and Industrial Markets Industry (“CIB”) for Dallas and Affiliate Offices. She has been in public accounting for 30 years.
As the leader of KPMG’s Consumer and Retail goods, Melisa is responsible for guiding the practice in this industry; identifying trends, thought leadership and collaborating with clients and professionals. She frequently meets with executives around the country to better understand client issues and ways to connect to our global network of industry leaders to find solutions.
She also serves as the leader of our global mobility practice. In that role, she helps clients navigate the complexity of moving human capital around the world. She was an expatriate in Montreal, Quebec where she helped companies with inbound investments to the US. Melisa currently serves as the Global Lead Partner for two large companies in Texas. She is responsible for bringing resources from KPMG to help solve their complex business issues.
