For three years, Tony participated on a rotation with the KPMG Office of General Counsel (OGC) eDiscovery and litigation support team, where he assisted in-house/outside counsel with the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and review of electronically stored information (ESI) in response to litigation and internal investigation matters.

He transitioned to external client service where he has assisted with hundreds of eDiscovery and computer forensic matters that include areas such as: theft of intellectual property, patent litigation, regulatory matters, compliance violations, internal investigations, employee violations, harassment, wrongful termination, HR matters, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) matters, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), construction litigation, data remediation, third-party shadows, and ombudsman cases.

Tony has managed global cross-border investigations involving collections, processing, and ESI review with internal and external counsel. He has assisted numerous clients with internal eDiscovery program development – establishing roles and responsibilities, workflows, procedures, employee guidance, evaluating legal hold solutions, and much more.

In 2021, Tony joined the KPMG Cyber Threat Management practice where he assists insurance carriers, law firms, and clients respond to malicious actors (cyber incidents, intrusions, ransomware attacks, etc.) while helping provide cyber resiliency services to improve the cyber security posture of his clients.

In addition, Tony:

  • is a 3x recipient of the SANS Lethal Forensicator coin (awarded to those who show exceptional talent, make outstanding contributions to the field, or demonstrate leadership in the digital forensics profession and community)
  • is an online adjunct instructor in Utica College's Cyber Security - Intelligence and Forensics master's degree program
  • has provided testimony on several cases and has worked on several high-profile cases that have made national news
