Chris is an accomplished professional with 30+ years of international experience in financial markets as a risk practitioner and strategic advisor. Chris has helped several financial institutions successfully prepare and adapt to changing regulations and market challenges in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Australia, U.K. and Europe. He has represented client interests to global regulators, communicated strategy to senior management, and presented complex issues to company Boards. His leadership roles have allowed him to build an extensive professional network which enables him to identify industry trends and assess and solve challenges facing his clients. Additionally, Chris is the Co-Lead of the LIBOR global center of excellence at KPMG.

Chris is a Principal in KPMG’s Modeling & Valuation group serving large international clients across North America, Europe, and Asia. Chris has led large service networks focused on capital, liquidity, modeling, analytics and financial instruments valuation. Chris has led various LIBOR engagements for global banks, capital markets, and insurance companies providing services including governance and project management, risk and exposure assessment, contract management, as well as supporting internal audit.

Chris served a three year term in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (“DPP”) where he developed risk policies for KPMG’s Advisory Practice. Following his DPP rotation, Chris served a two year term during the financial crisis as a valuation partner, where he assessed the fair value of complex financial instruments for some of KPMP’s largest audit clients.

Prior to joining KPMG, Chris spent 13 years as Head Trader responsible managing FX trading desks in United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. His responsibilities included trading and risk management of foreign exchange options, spot and forwards. Additionally, Chris spent two years with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“OCC”) as a Large Bank Capital Markets Examiner. At the OCC, Chris was responsible for regulatory oversight of trading businesses and treasury functions at large nationally regulated banking institutions. Chris was also involved with a technology internet start-up as an investor and product specialist where he co-authored several derivative trading system patents, and taught finance for two semesters at Saint Peters University Graduate School.
