John Fields
Managing Director, Corporate Finance
John is a Managing Director for KPMG Corporate Finance LLC’s Energy Team, and is based in the Houston office.
He has over 33 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and investment banking.
John has extensive experience serving clients in the energy, natural resources and chemical sectors. His industry areas of focus throughout his investment banking career include exploration and production, oilfield services, refining, midstream, utilities and generation, and major integrated segments.
Before joining KPMG CF LLC, John held positions at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, J.P. Morgan and Alliant Energy. John holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas.
