Has over 35 years of professional experience in the fields of tax, transfer pricing and regulatory consulting. Hitesh is Senior Partner at KPMG in India, having led the firm’s Tax & Regulatory Services Practice from 2018 to 2020. He had earlier also led the Transfer Pricing Practice and was Tax Leader of the Firm’s Industrial and Consumer Markets vertical.
Hitesh is well known and sought after for his professional insights, advice and guidance on various tax and regulatory issues and trends in India.
Hitesh is a regular conference host, presenter and moderator at various international tax and transfer pricing conferences in India and overseas. He has been regularly featured in international and Indian media, newspapers and business magazines where he is asked to speak / contribute / comment on various business and tax issues.
Hitesh has co-authored BCAS’ publications -‘Taxation of Non-Residents, FERA / FEMA’, ‘Transfer Pricing Manual’ and ‘Multi Lateral Instrument –A Compendium’ and was Country Reporter for India at International Fiscal Association’s Conference.
He has a passion for singing, has interests in personal finance matters and yoga
