Eric Goldberg

Eric is a partner in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP) with more than 15 years of professional experience. Originally from the Los Angeles office, Eric focused on providing audit and attestation services to financial services clients, including investment advisors, brokers and dealers, mutual funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other related investment products. Eric is a member of the DPP topic teams for revenue recognition, fair value, financial instruments, and consolidation.
Eric’s primary responsibilities at DPP relate to KPMG’s ongoing efforts with respect to the new revenue recognition standard, with a focus on investment advisor revenue recognition and helping author KPMG publications relative to the new revenue recognition standard.
Eric has a B.S. in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University. He is a certified public accountant in California and New York.
