Karl has defined future state vision, constructed roadmaps, conducted technology assessments, designed operating models, defined & implemented policy, process and tools across the end to end Procurement & Supply value chain globally.

Transformational Leadership

  • Led transformation of labor and technology supply chains to enable $5.7B in revenue generating spend to over 4000 client accounts in the Technology Outsourcing Services Industry
  • Mitigated $980M revenue and $117M margin loss through SCM process re-engineering and capabilities development to meet client service level agreements
  • Led solutions integration across multiple mergers & acquisitions
  • Started up a reporting & analytics platform and team to identify an estimated $1B in savings previously not addressable
  • Defined vision, roadmap and architecture for Ariba, FieldGlass and SAP integrated SCM Solution
  • Led tactical sourcing and order management operations for US Public Sector accounts

Source to Pay Transformation

  • Implemented Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Savings and P2P for fortune 50 company with over $9B in spend in 60+ countries
  • Managed FieldGlass labor management solution for fortune 50 company in 33+ countries to manage over $400M in spend
  • Directed a Source to Pay transformation for a global Industrial manufacturing company, including an operational and technology assessment, establishment of a Procurement Operations organization, implementation of Ariba Source to Pay cloud solutions in conjunction with SAP S4 and Thomson Reuters One Source cloud tax engine.
  • Led transformation of labor and technology supply chains to enable $5.7B in revenue generating spend to over 4000 client accounts in the Technology Outsourcing Services Industry
  • Enabled $2B of eSourcing projects enabling $1B in savings over 3 yrs
  • Develop policy and processes for contracting, sourcing & procurement
  • Led multiple business process re-engineering initiatives
  • Led definition and integration of Procurement cost quoting with sales quoting
  • Defined and implemented multiple functional (HR, Finance) integrations to Supply Chain solutions
