Jina Kim

Jina Kim is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Tax practice. Based in Boston, Jina specializes in tax compliance and consulting for high net worth individuals, corporations, private equity partnerships, venture capital funds, and fund-of-funds.

Jina has in-depth experience with a wide range of complex tax matters for clients operating in a variety of forms and structures and assisting clients with tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters. She works closely with the client’s legal counsel and other advisors to understand the overall financial position and goals in order to provide pertinent tax advice.

Jina is also responsible for overseeing large private equity and venture capital engagements. She has a deep understanding of partnership taxation and partner matters. She assists clients with complex allocations, investment transactions, and state and international related tax issues.

Jina serves as the VP of Finance for Ascend’s New England chapter and is a member of the AICPA and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. She is a licensed CPA and holds her Master’s degree in Taxation from Northeastern University and her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
