Managing Director, Transfer Pricing Disputes

Theresa Kolish is a Managing Director in KPMG's Transfer Pricing Dispute Resolution group within the Economic & Valuation Services practice.

Theresa has more than 15 years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as tax attorney with extensive knowledge in complex legal, economic, and treaty issues in transfer pricing.  Before joining KPMG, she served as a team leader and Competent Authority analyst for the IRS Advance Pricing and Mutual Agreement (APMA) program, which provides her with experience in financial services advance pricing agreements.  During her tenure at APMA, Theresa negotiated APAs with the governments of Japan, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Netherlands.  Theresa was also an attorney advisor in the Office of Chief Counsel Corporate.  Prior to joining the IRS, Theresa was an associate and then partner in a law firm, where she advised clients on an array of tax issues.  

Away from the office, Theresa enjoys running, skiing, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
