Alan is a director in KPMG’s Accounting Advisory practice with over 20 years of experience providing audit and advisory services in the financial services industry to companies reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS. His clients include leading commercial, investment, and retail banks, as well as specialty finance companies and asset managers.
His responsibilities include accounting change work related to credit loss accounting under US GAAP, and technical accounting transactional analysis in areas such as renewable energy investments, stock compensation, purchase accounting, derivatives and hedging, consolidation, and transfers and servicing of financial instruments.
Alan is a frequent speaker at KPMG industry events, and provides continuing professional education to clients and internally within KPMG.
