Erinn Madden has over 20 years of experience advising multinational corporations, partnerships, and other entities regarding compensation and benefits tax issues, including nonqualified deferred compensation, non-US retirement and benefit plans, incentive and equity arrangements, golden parachute payments, fringe benefits, and employment taxation.
Erinn started her career as a law clerk for the Tax Court followed by nearly a decade in the Executive Compensation Branch in the Office of Chief Counsel, IRS, where she drafted regulations on golden parachute payments, incentive stock options, and split-dollar life insurance, as well as numerous other executive compensation guidance projects.
Erinn specializes in cross-border compensation and benefits tax issues, including compensation considerations for clients expanding their footprint into or outside of the US.
Erinn holds an LLM degree in taxation and a JD degree from the University of San Diego, and a BA from the University of Virginia.
