Mark Martin leads the KPMG Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution Services practice. Mark also serves as the principal in charge of the Economic & Valuation Services group of the KPMG Washington National Tax practice.

Mark has many years of experience handling competent authority cases and advance pricing agreement negotiations. Today, he represents multinational enterprises and other clients in international transfer pricing and tax controversy matters, advising them on examination, appeals, alternative dispute resolution programs, and litigation.

Prior to joining KPMG, Mark was a partner at a large law firm where he led the U.S. and international tax and transfer pricing practices. Earlier in his legal career, he served as an attorney advisor to Judge Carolyn Miller Parr of the U.S. Tax Court.

Mark holds a JD degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, LLM degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and a BA degree from the University of Cincinnati.
