Responsible for managing a wide range of valuation engagements:
- Perform business enterprise valuations for privately-held companies and subsidies of publicly-held companies.
- Conduct valuations of intangible assets such as customer relationships, in-process R&D, proprietary software and technology, non-competition agreements, trade names, franchise rights, assembled workforce, FCC licenses, favorable / unfavorable contracts, and goodwill.
- Perform and publish thought leadership on inventory valuation.
- Experienced in performing valuations of financial assets such as loans, leases, swaps and other instruments.
Valuations support clients with a variety of regulatory requirements:
- Financial reporting valuation engagements for business combinations (ASC 805), impairment testing (ASC 350), and other estimations of fair value under ASC 820.
- Tax reporting engagements include purchase price allocations under IRC 338 and 1060, global business restructuring transactions, and other estimations of fair market value under Revenue Ruling 59-60.
- Support KPMG’s Audit practice in reviews of third party valuations (SAS 101, SAS 73 and SAS 57).
