John McLoughlin is a principal in the KPMG Trade & Customs Services practice and shares responsibility for overseeing KPMG import and export services on a national basis. Prior to joining KPMG, John practiced in the area of trade and customs consulting for another Big 4 accounting firm and was a vice president at a major freight forwarding company.
John has more than twenty years of industry, trade and customs consulting experience and advises companies on trade issues that relate to the technology, aerospace, defense retail, apparel, automotive, electronics, steel, and manufacturing industries.
John has assisted numerous Fortune 100 companies with global Customs planning including global first-sale implementations, NAFTA planning, foreign-trade zones, supply chain management analysis, compliance reviews, customs and tax valuation and duty drawback.
