Dani Michaux

Dani Michaux is a Partner in KPMG Consulting IT Advisory based in Ireland. She is currently leading the Cyber Security service offerings. She has over 18 years of working experience where she has had the opportunity to consult multiple clients on Cyber Security Strategy and Governance, Unified Compliance and Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, Information Governance, IT GRC, Information Security Management  Systems, Security Architecture, Security Remediation Programs, Security Assessment especially to the Financial,  Telecommunications, Energy, and Government sectors.

While at KPMG, Dani has also performed a number of information security engagement within Energy (Power and Oil and Gas) and  Telecommunication Companies covering Process Control Domain Systems and critical infrastructure for Telecommunication  Companies. Dani has recently been the CISO for a Telecommunication company and led and successfully delivered the 3 year Security Transformation  Programme for a ASEAN Regional telecommunications company. She has also provided CISO Strategy advisory to a Telco group for 4 months, undertaking the Regional GCISO role and has served as an acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role for a major power and utility company for 1 year. She is also a leading KPMG advisor on Cloud Security initiatives and  Emerging Technology Risk Initiatives.

• Engagement Partner and team lead on security Remediation Programs and Security Architecture, comprising of IT Security Management Systems, Blueprint, Security Testing, Implementation of Network and Security  Monitoring and Security Technologies, including DLP, IDM, GRC, EPP, etc.
• ASPAC Focal Point for PCD Resourcing and Programme for a global PCD Security Remediation programme for a multinational oil and gas company.
• Engagement Director on a comprehensive PCD engagement in Malaysia with a large energy player – for ISO  27001 Certification of  Control Rooms and IT Data Centers.
• Engagement Director for ITDRP review for a Telecommunications company.
• Engagement Director for ITDRP/SLA review for Managed Service Providers (DC Outsourcing and Security  monitoring)
• SME for Country wide studies in relation to IT Strategic plans and Security regulations.
• Engagement Director and lead on various ISO 27001 advisory and audit engagements (including data centers,  outsourcing providers, telco, call-centers, etc.)
• Engagement Director and lead on alignment of Governance, Risk Management and Frameworks with operational processes.
