Juan Mina

Juan Mina has more than 13 years of M&A tax experience advising both Mexican and multinational clients, providing tax counsel on both the buy or sell sides, financial modeling review, corporate restructuring (liquidation/spin-offs), and cross-border transactions, as well as lending and financing transactions. Prior to joining KPMG Mexico in July of 2021, he worked for well-known accounting and law firms in Mexico City.
Juan has extensive experience in serving clients in the asset management, real estate, and construction sectors. He has advised some of the largest U.S. and global asset managers with investments in Mexico.
Juan is a certified public accountant and member of the International Tax Commission of the Mexican Public Accountants (IMCP). He has been a panelist and moderator for various events, which focused on international tax topics, held by this organization. Juan holds a degree in public accounting from the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial (EBC) and a law degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
