Achim Mossmann

Achim Mossmann is a principal with KPMG LLP and he leads KPMG’s Mobility Consulting Services (MCS) within the Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. Achim has more than 22 years of experience in domestic and international Human Resources in the U.S. and Europe.
Achim has extensive experience in all aspects of expatriate management ranging from international payroll and administration, process review and process improvement, as well as policy development, design and implementation. Furthermore, he has also a strong background in compensation and benefits and has worked as an HR generalist in staff and line functions.
Prior to joining KPMG, Achim was the head of the International Human Resources organization of a major German electronics and engineering conglomerate in the U.S. where he was responsible for assignment administration and policy development.
Achim supports currently several global companies with their assignment administration and policy and process re-engineering and oversees the global engagements.
Achim is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and roundtables. His speaking engagements cover topics ranging from assignment policy benchmarking, to international payroll processes and outsourcing and other Human Resources and Global Mobility topics. Achim is also frequently quoted in industry and general publications such as the International Herald Tribune and the LA Times.
Achim has a JD Law degree from Freie Universitaet in Berlin,Germany.
