Brian O'Donovan
Associate Partner, IFRG
Brian O’Donovan is one of the most senior members of KPMG International Standards Group. Brian leads our work on numerous IFRS technical topics, including revenue recognition, lease accounting and rate-regulation. Since 2019, he has been a member of the IFRS Interpretations Committee—the IFRIC. In this period, Brian has dealt with many controversial agenda decisions—e.g. on insurance contracts, cloud computing and emissions schemes. Brian was a member of the IASB-FASB Joint Transition Resource Group on revenue recognition, which addressed implementation issues associated with the new revenue standards under IFRS and US GAAP.
