Ken is a Principal in KPMG’s Boston office. He has over 23 years of transfer pricing experience and worked on a wide range of engagements, including documentation, planning, assisting clients with responses to IDRs and Internal Revenue Services (IRS) audits, APAs and provision/FIN48 reviews. During his tenure with the firm, Ken has gained experience with most types of intercompany transactions, including tangible, intangible, service and financial (loan/guarantee) transactions.

Professional and industry experience

Have assisted multiple clients in responding to IDRs. He has prepared documentation and planning work for clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services (asset management, private equity), pharmaceutical, industrial (manufacturing), consulting, electronics, entertainment, food and beverage, publishing, and eyewear. A sample of these projects is as follows:

  • Evaluated Advanced Pricing Agreement option for a financial exchange company following the merger of two exchanges, along with examining transfer pricing consequences of subsequent acquisitions.
  • Performed PCT calculations for Software Company centralizing non-US IP rights in foreign jurisdiction.
  • Performed value chain management project for trading services company.
