Aisling O’Brien is a director in KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services practice and has over 16 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to public and private companies, both in the United States and Ireland.
Aisling helps clients navigate the accounting and financial reporting implications of various transactions, primarily, accounting conversions, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. This includes assisting clients with: technical accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, compliance with SEC and foreign filing requirements and post-deal integration efforts. She also assists clients with the implementation of new, or amended, accounting standards.
Aisling serves on the IFRS and lease accounting topic teams.
