Mayumi Ono
Senior Manager, Tax
Mayumi is a Senior Manager in KPMG LLP’s U.S. Japanese Practice Tax Services in the New York office. She specializes in U.S. individual tax compliance and consultation services for Japanese assignees, and assists clients with various tax compliance-related projects, payroll processing managements, and examinations. Mayumi has over 15 years of experience in large public accounting firms. Before focusing on individual taxation, she had extensive experience in partnership taxation areas such as multi-national private equity and real estate funds.
Mayumi graduated from the University of Maryland with BA in American Studies and BS in accounting, and obtained her MBA from Fordham University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.
