Tim is a Director in KPMG’s Risk Advisory Solutions practice with more than 30 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. Tim joined the firm in 2004 from the banking industry and since the inception of the SWIFT Customer Security Program (CSP) in 2016, he has been focused on assisting clients in understanding the program requirements, assessing their controls frameworks, and their IT architecture to provide better practice recommendations in accordance with the SWIFT criteria, as well as performing formal attestation examinations for SWIFT member financial institutions. He has a strong background across the full spectrum of IT risk and controls services including SOX 404, SOC 1 & SOC2, and general attestation examinations. He also has extensive experience in performing advisory engagements assisting clients with enhancements to their IT risk processes and frameworks, governance structures, impact analysis, and data flow analysis. Tim’s experience spans many financial sectors including commercial and retail banking, securities, custodial services, technology, and fintech.
