BJ performs business valuation services for financial and tax reporting purposes. These appraisals have been completed for mergers and acquisitions, corporate planning, and restructuring initiatives. BJ has litigation support experience in both a valuation and forensic accounting capacity dealing with civil and criminal matters. He has served domestic and international clients across many industries including communications, consumer products, media and entertainment, retail, logistics, software/technology, life sciences, and chemicals.
BJ serves KPMG’s National Accounting Office advising on complex valuation matters pertaining to KPMG’s clients globally. He has also contributed to various publications and thought leadership pieces on emerging valuation issues.
BJ participates on several internal and external committees including projects undertaken by the Appraisal Foundation and AICPA. The committees on which he serves address topics such as fair value, business combinations, impairment, and IFRS. Through these committees and organizations, BJ is influential in the development of the firm’s guidance, policies and leading practices.
