Industries

Helping clients meet their business challenges begins with an in-depth understanding of the industries in which they work. That’s why KPMG LLP established its industry-driven structure. In fact, KPMG LLP was the first of the Big Four firms to organize itself along the same industry lines as clients.

P. Scott Ozanus is Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of KPMG LLP. He chairs the Management Committee and oversees KPMG’s business planning and growth initiatives.

With a career spanning more than 30 years in professional services, Scott is a respected voice on a range of issues, including M&A, tax strategy, operational
excellence and organizational strategy. He has extensive experience serving multinational private equity and hedge fund clients within the Alternative Investments market.

Scott is a driving force behind the KPMG’s “One Firm” approach in which people and resources across the Audit, Tax and Advisory businesses are brought together to deliver more comprehensive solutions and strategic advantage. Earlier, with Arthur Andersen, Scott led the firm’s Tax Department and served as Dallas Office Managing Partner, the youngest partner to hold those roles at the time.

Scott and his family reside in Dallas, where he is active in the community. Scott has served on several Dallas area boards, including the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the Heart Hospital Baylor-Plano, and the Cox School of Business. He currently serves on the board of Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
