Tim is a Deal Advisory Director in the accounting & financial reporting space within Financial Services industry. He has 12+ years experience in audit, assurance and advisory services in an international environment. As a Dutch native, he worked in the Netherlands (and across Europe) first, with a secondment to Australia, and later after 9 years in audit transitioned to USA, to Deal Advisory.

Tim focuses on finance and accounting support around buy-side M&A deals with a specific focus on the technical and operational accounting aspects of IFRS / US GAAP conversions. Including the impacts on data, IT and processes/controls.
He is dedicated to the Financial Services industry with specific specialization towards: banking (retail, corporate, investment), specialty finance, fintech, vendor finance, captive (auto) finance and asset management (including real estate). Within these segments Tim specializes in cross-border M&A activity across Latin America and Japan in- and outbound.
