David Perrone
Partner, Head of Tax Management Consulting
David Perrone heads Tax Management Consulting, which includes the areas of Global Compliance Management Services, Tax Transformation, Tax Transparency, and Tax Technology, for KPMG in Sweden. In addition, David is a member of the KPMG Global IMPACT Tax Center of Excellence, where he focuses on tax transparency reporting, tax governance, and sustainable finance.
As head of Tax Management Consulting, David leads several different projects for major multinational companies. Example projects include: the development and drafting of public tax policies and tax governance and operating models; the development of strategies regarding the quantitative and qualitative communication around tax; the development of a quantitative model for calculating local impact of tax payments; and outsourced tax compliance engagements covering multiple services and countries.
David was previously a director in the KPMG Global Transfer Pricing Services practice. He has international experience both in Sweden and the United States. Prior to joining KPMG in 2005, David worked in another Big 4’s global transfer pricing group in Chicago.
David has published articles related to international tax issues in leading business journals, such as Dagens Industri, the leading business newspaper in Sweden, and International Tax Review. Additionally, David has been featured by SVT (Swedish Public Television) and other major Swedish news organizations as an commentator on international tax matters. David has also taught master-level courses in tax and transfer pricing at the Jönköping International Business School and at the Stockholm School of Economics.
David is a Certified Tax Advisor in Sweden by FAR, Sweden’s professional institute for authorized public accountants. David holds an MBA degree in general management from the Stockholm School of Economics and an BS degree in finance, accounting, and international business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
