Chris Roberts
Partner, International Tax
Chris Roberts has more than 19 years of experience at KPMG, and for the last 16 years, he has specialized in the delivery of international tax services to clients across the United Kingdom and internationally. He is a leading member of international corporate tax practice for KPMG in the United Kingdom. Chris has recently headed up an expanded team of U.K. tax professionals based in the United States, which encompasses not only international tax, but also transfer pricing, indirect tax, financial services tax, and global compliance and transformation.
In addition to his recent position in the United States, Chris has also taken part in a number of secondments, including working within the international corporate tax team at KPMG in Calgary, Canada as well as at clients including a FTSE 100 global software business and one of the world’s largest beverage groups. Chris also has extensive experience of advising both large public companies as well as some of the world’s largest privately held groups.
Chris has a great deal of experience advising companies on international tax matters, covering mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity raising transactions including the listing on the U.S. markets, group re-organizations, and incentives planning.
Chris is a Chartered Tax Advisor in the United Kingdom. He has an executive MBA degree from the University of Edinburgh and a BA degree with honors in politics, philosophy, and economics.
