Benjamin Rohrer

Ben Rohrer is a Partner in KPMG's Atlanta office and has more than 15 years of U.S. federal income tax experience serving multinational corporations.
In addition to his engagement executive responsibilities, Ben is a member of KPMG's national Tax Accounting Methods and Credit Services team, focusing on assisting clients in the Southeast. Ben also co-led KPMG's efforts within the the accounting methods area on evaluating the impacts of a conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by a U.S. company.
Ben provides tax advisory and consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries, including entertainment and hospitality. Past engagement experience includes: Tax accounting under FAS 109 and FIN 48 implementation, Federal and state tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions planning, IRS and state examination defense, and documentation and planning projects around revenue recognition, inventory accounting, tangible and intangible asset capitalization, deduction timing, the Section 199 production activities deduction, and research credit claims.
His industry experience includes software, automotive, aerospace and defense, chemicals consumer products, food processing, financial services, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals/biotechnology, and hospitality.
