Teisha Ruggiero
Senior Manager, International Tax
Teisha Ruggiero is an International Tax senior manager in KPMG's New York office and is currently on rotation with the firm’s Washington National Tax practice. Teisha has experience advising multinational clients on the U.S. international tax consequences of their transactions, organizational structures, and operations. Her clients span a variety of industries including media, financial services, life sciences, software, and technology.
Teisha's most recent experience includes helping clients navigate the complexities of U.S. tax reform. In particular, she advises clients on the interplay of rules relating to the creditability of foreign taxes, the Foreign-Derived Intangible Income regime, the Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income regime, and the Base Erosion Anti-Abuse Tax. She also assists clients with post-acquisition structuring (e.g., intellectual property migration), supply chain planning, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Teisha is a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association. She has an LLM degree from New York University School of Law, a JD degree from Brooklyn Law School, an MSc degree from the London School of Economics, and a BA degree from McGill University.
