Don Ryan

Don is currently a director in KPMG's management consulting practice focusing on shared services and outsourcing. Don was formerly vice president at Fuld and Company and vice president of the Technology Practice at Market Probe, an international research and consulting firm focusing on brand and customer advocacy analysis. Previous to working with Market Probe, Don was vice president of technology research at TNS, the largest custom research company worldwide.
A seasoned technology and market consultant with over 20 years experience working with major IT, media and mobile brands including Microsoft, HP and Fox, Don uses market data to formulate marketing recommendations. An industry thought leader, Don was a main author of “Never Ending Friending” (2007), which considered the increasingly vital role of social networking as a component of social behavior and also calculated marketing ROI for Social Marketing campaigns. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and other news and trade publications. In 2011, he chaired the Mobile Computing Summit covering all aspects of mobility in the enterprise and in 2012 he presented at Comdex Virtual.
Prior to joining TNS, Don was associated with both major and boutique firms including Meta Group, Current Analysis, Giga Group and Federal Express in both management and consulting roles. His responsibilities at these companies included software architecture planning for major enterprises, go to market strategy development and business planning and analysis. He is also a frequent speaker at client events where market research needs to be melded with market insight.
Don draws on his education at Wesleyan University and The Wharton School to add further depth to his work.
