Eric Salazar is a Director in the Customer & Operations advisory practice focused on strategy, operations, and analytics. Eric has deep expertise and passion for translating complex enterprise-wide challenges into clear competitive strategies and operational design based on deep insights gained through data and analytics.
During the last ten years as a supply chain strategist and practitioner, Eric has worked domestically and internationally with numerous leading companies across diverse industries to develop operational strategies and large-scale transformations programs to build and optimize distribution channels and infrastructure, accelerate product launch and time to validate, reduce cost and working capital. His primary functional focus areas have been supply chain network strategy, design, and optimization; digitally-enabled large-scale transformations anchored on Oracle; working capital optimization; and cognitive planning.
Prior to KPMG, Eric completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Systems Management at Texas A&M. While in graduate school Eric worked as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M’s Global Supply Chain Systems Laboratory, where he focused on researching market potential as a value driver for facilities manufacturing location decisions in Latin America. Eric is an effective communicator in English and Spanish.
