Louise Santacruz

Louise is an exectutive director in KPMG's Department of Professional Practice since 2008 where she works with the ALex/ARO Group to develop and manage the firm’s online accounting content. Previously, she was in KPMG’s New York Information, Communications, and Entertainment Audit practice. Louise has over 15 years of experience providing financial statement audit, audit of internal control, and due diligence services.
Louise has provided professional audit services to several large multinational groups in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS. Her primary specialization in the Audit practice was the entertainment industry. Her audit experience ranges from SEC filings, carve-out financial statements, the successful conversion of a multinational company from local GAAP to U.S. GAAP to IFRS, and the merger of two multinational music labels. She has a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and has been involved in numerous debt and equity offerings including an IPO.
She holds a BS degree from Georgetown University and an MBA degree from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY, and is also a licensed CPA from New York.
